Avocado BBQ Wood

High heat generation thanks to a hardness similar to a number of fruit woods. It is on the softer side of hardwoods.

We recommend the wood mainly for pizza oven enthusiasts and for general cooking and smoking (avocado is extremely versatile). Many people describe avocado firewood aroma as herbal and creamy, sometimes a hint of nut flavor.

Our avocado BBQ chunks are properly seasoned and contain optimal water content for best smoke generation.

A 10 lbs box contains 1/2 cubic foot of avocado chunks. A 20 lbs box contains 1/1 cubic foot. Tightly packed.

Avocado trees tend to be harvested while still fairly small. Therefore, most firewood pieces will have some bark (which is fairly thin).
